Second Harvest Australia Incorporated, in recent times has extended its involvement to Youth Community Services. 

Schools and youth community groups have and are continuing to be approached to assist projects that involve each of the food centres.  Not only is this increasing the awareness of the needs of the food centres it is developing community involvement with young people.

Second Harvest and the food centres are also available to take on young people as volunteers or to complete community service hours.
