Volunteers are people who work for others selflessly. We as humans always need some or the other help but we sometimes forget to give back the kindness.
The volunteers at Second Harvest are not only selfless and kind, they are tireless workers for our community. Many have suffered their own misfortunes and understand that we all need human interaction to survive.

Second Harvest are registered participants for the Work for the Dole scheme and provide participants with training and support.
Because we have various activities they have the opportunity to gain experience in a non-threatening environment that will benefit them when they return to work.
